German Shorthaired Pointer Graphite Drawing
The intent of this project was to create a graphite drawing of a dog using a reference photo.
This was a personal project.
I created this using both graphite and colored pencil. To gain dimension in the composition, I followed the highlights and shadows of the reference photo, adding in more layers with different grades of graphite pencil. I chose to make the collar red because it is symbolic with this specific dog and adds a nice touch to the drawing.
